Principles of Journalism
This course introduces students to the core principles, values, ethics and practices that guide the work of professional journalists. This course helps students understand and appreciate why the craft of journalism matters and why it is essential to democracy and a free society. It lays the intellectual foundation necessary for journalism students to advance to technical skill courses.
