Submit Unit Committee Chair Names

The Columbia Faculty Manual requires reporting committee chair names both for unit professional-track faculty committees and for unit tenure and promotions committees. Units shall elect chairs for these committees and report them to the Office of the Provost by April 15 each year. Reporting chair names in this submission portal also makes them available to the appropriate committee chair of the University Committee on Professional-Track Faculty and the University Committee on Tenure and Promotions.

Submit Unit Committee Chair Names

Committee chair names are submitted by the dean’s office at the link above. Within academic units, report committee chair names through administrative channels to the dean’s office to avoid duplicate submissions here, please. All chair names should be reported by April 15 for the upcoming academic year. If a chair changes mid-year, please submit the new chair’s information and add a comment noting that they are replacing the previous chair.
