The Center for American Civic Leadership and Public Discourse invites applications for its internal Faculty Affiliate Program.
Expectations and Benefits of Faculty Affiliates
Affiliated Faculty are appointed to three year renewable terms. Faculty Affiliates are expected to support the mission and goals of the center, to participate in center activities, and, on an ad hoc basis, volunteer for events or serve as a mentor for the undergraduate and graduate research programs.
Faculty affiliates will have their work publicized on the center’s website as appropriate and are eligible for small research and travel grants. Faculty affiliates are also invited to make use of the center resources, including, as available, its conference room and common areas.
Faculty Affiliate Applications
Applications to the center’s Faculty Affiliate Program are reviewed on a rolling basis. Faculty may apply by emailing the Interim director, Christopher Tollefsen (Christopher.Tollefsen@gmail.com) with the following:
- A cover letter expressing interest in joining the Center’s affiliated faculty; the letter should include a description of current and planned research or other relevant work, and should explain your interest in the center and its mission.
- A current CV.
Applications will be reviewed by a committee composed of the Director, Core Faculty (as available), and members of the Center’s Advisory Committee.
