Degrees of Excellence: A Red-Carpet Celebration for HRSM Graduates
The College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management invites you to Degrees of Excellence, a special celebration honoring all May 2025 graduates! This exciting, red-carpet-style event is your moment to shine as you walk across the stage, hear your name called and get cheered on by faculty, friends and family.
Date: Friday, May 9, 2025
Location: Koger Center for the Arts
Time: 6-7 p.m. (Graduates arrive by 5 p.m. in cap and gown)
This high-energy event is not a replacement for commencement but an exclusive celebration just for HRSM graduates. All graduates will be recognized, master’s and doctoral graduates will receive their hoods and if you're earning academic honors, you’ll be presented with your gold honors cord — no need to purchase one separately!
Bring as many guests as you'd like — there’s plenty of space for your biggest fans. To help us plan, please fill out our RSVP form to let us know if you can attend. Even if you’re unable to join us, we’d love for you to complete the form and share your updates!
This is your time to celebrate your achievements — let’s make it a night to remember!
Graduation Survey
We want to hear about your success after graduation! While we encourage all graduates to complete our Graduation Survey, the best time to fill it out is a few months after graduation — once you’ve completed your final internship or secured your next opportunity. Your feedback helps us track career outcomes and improve our programs, so when the time is right, we’d love to hear from you. Keep this link handy, and check back when you're ready to share your post-graduation journey!
Survey Information and Data Use
Your responses help us track career outcomes and improve our programs! The data collected from this survey allows USC to generate reports on employment rates, salary trends, graduate school enrollment and internship experiences for College of HRSM students. All information will be reported in aggregate, ensuring that no identifying details are shared. Your participation is valuable, and your responses will remain completely confidential.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact the University Career Center at 803-777-7280.
