Michelle Bryan, Ph.D.

Dr. Michelle Bryan serves as Associate Vice President for Access and Opportunity. Her responsibilities include bridging the Office’s vision and strategy, implementing capacity building programs, and execution and leadership of critical institutional initiatives and projects. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Leadership, Learning Design, and Inquiry in the College of Education.

Megan Colascione, M.Ed.

Megan Colascione, as the Assistant Director of Education and Strategic Initiatives, spearheads educational programming and workshops within the Office of Access and Opportunity. Focused on USC’s campus culture and leadership impact, the curriculum aligns with strategic priorities through an inclusive excellence approach. Megan collaborates with university stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and implement impactful initiatives that enhance our institutional culture.

Khristina DeLorenzo

Khristina DeLorenzo is a program assistant to the team. Her responsibilities as a program assistant encompass a wide range of duties, including event planning and management, participant communication, data tracking and analysis, and logistical support.

Kareemah Hosendove, M.Ed.

Kareemah Hosendove reports to and provides executive-level support to the VP. Kareemah also manages and coordinates complex administrative and support functions for the department. With being the HR initiator and overseer of the unit’s budget, she also manages and coordinates a wide range of projects, programs and events in addition to coordinating/assisting with award/grant applications and annual reporting.

Anthony L. James, Ed.D.

Dr. Anthony James designs and directs educational programs for the University of South Carolina System that foster intercultural understanding, build trust, encourage open dialogue across differences, and navigate misunderstandings. As a consultant and strategic thought leader, he develops, maintains, and shares resources to enhance the campus community’s ability to improve the culture in both the workplace and classrooms. Additionally, he is a 2018 alumnus of the University.

Autumn Turkvant

Autumn Turkvant serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the team. Her duties as the coordinator consists of coordinating complex administrative, business management and/or support activities. She obtained her degree in Mass Communication at Benedict College, where she graduated as a Summa Cum Laude, while also minoring psychology. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in strategic communication management at the University of South Carolina.

Julian Williams

Julian R. Williams, J.D.

Julian R. Williams is the vice president for Access, Civil Rights and Community Engagement. In this role, he serves as the university’s chief diversity officer and leads the Division of Access, Civil Rights and Community Engagement.
