If your unit's search for any role results in an international finalist, please submit a Consultation Request so we can discuss with the candidate their sponorship options and answer any questions they may have. Hiring units with questions can also request consultation for themselves through this form.
Contact ISSS when any of your top candidates in the search are international. We need to evaluate their immigration history, status, and eligibility.
Most TT faculty are sponsored for the H-1B visa and for permanent residency simultaneously. Hiring units should submit the Hiring Packet for Tenure Track Faculty to ISSS as soon as possible and before the May 15 deadline.

During proposal budget preparation, contact Katie Davison (HR-Class/Comp) for review of approved position classifications/salary ranges and immigration@sc.edu for USDOL prevailing wage data applicable to the discipline and physical worksites. Note grant-funded hiring process timeline.
