The University of South Carolina (USC) and several SC Technical Colleges including Midlands Technical College have partnered to create direct transfer tracks within specific majors, allowing students to earn an associate degree prior to transferring to USC. Direct track students who meet the admissions requirements for the University and for the academic major and who meet the application deadline are guaranteed admission to the USC to continue their degree program.
USC’s Direct Transfer Pathway partnership with Verto Education allows eligible students to earn guaranteed transfer admission to USC based on their performance during a Verto international experience. Students have the opportunity to start college overseas at any of Verto's five locations, take coursework to meet USC's Direct Transfer requirements for guaranteed admission and work with Verto staff on-site to submit the Verto Partner Application to USC.
All courses, credits and transcripts at Verto locations are delivered by Verto’s accredited Academic Provider, the University of New Haven. This coursework has been reviewed and articulated by USC to our course offerings. The curriculum is designed to help you gain unique experiences and achieve academic success as you explore the globe – all while completing transferable credits towards a degree.
