Angie Starrett, Ph.D.

Biography

Angie Starrett specializes in advanced quantitative methods, complex data, and teacher workforce studies. She has collaborated with colleagues in the College of Education on multiple research projects involving advanced statistical analyses, rural education, and teacher working conditions. Dr. Starrett is currently co-PI or methodologist for several funded projects. Her primary research interests are in machine learning and latent variable statistical analysis. She also serves as the Director of Research for SC TEACHER.

Research

Angie Starrett’s research interests include mixture modeling, structural equation modeling, and scale development. She also applies advanced statistics and measurement methods to rural education and development.
