USC’s Board of Trustees approved the design of the new School of Medicine Columbia building in December 2023. The state-of-the-art facility is expected to be complete by 2027.

Our school is looking toward the future with the goal of supporting the health needs of South Carolina and beyond through exemplary biomedical education, research that matters and quality patient care initiatives.
