The Quality Improvement and Systems Training (QUEST) program offers experiential learning
in quality improvement methods by pairing health professional students with faculty
mentors and teams at Prisma Health - Midlands. Participants also have the chance to
develop a QI project for USC’s Discover Day.
What About Quest?
The Quality Improvement and Systems Training (QUEST) Program is looking for 50 health
science students interested in learning to apply Quality Improvement principles as
well as learning how to work within a team.
QUEST allows you to apply the principles you are learning in online modules or in
a classroom. Students are paired with a faculty mentor and a QI team. They also have
the chance to develop a QI project for UofSC’s Discover Day.

I now more than ever see the importance of innovation and collaboration as it intertwines
with better health of patients and improved quality of care.
